Anyone who knows me, knows that the Egret my mom's husband, PaP, started feeding years ago is inspiration for some of my paintings. PaP named her Ethel. Now that PaP has passed on, mom continues to have this other child to keep her company when my brothers and I can't be around. This is one more painting inspired by Ethel.
