This is a painting of one of the most fascinating fish. The Koi. Their design and colors are gorgeous. I have always wanted to have them swimming in an outside fountain. So, I decided to paint one. This is an Acrylic painting on a 6x6 gallery wrapped canvas and the tail actually goes around the corner of the canvas a bit. I loved how it turned out.
