Here's The Plan

Hello Friends,

I've finished two commissions, but I can't post either one of them yet. They haven't been delivered yet, but I did this one for my daughter. This is a very, VERY special subject. This boy, contemplating escape, with his partner in crime, is my grandson, Aydenn. The "partner" is mom's dog, Sport. I caught them at it when I spent the weekend with mom and had Aydenn with me. A very good friend and fellow artist helped me with the name of the painting. Thanks, Marilyn Harman. The name is perfect for these two rascals. I grabbed my cell phone and snapped the picture. Then gridded it onto the canvas. I just love it. It's 8x10 oil on canvas panel. Hope you enjoy seeing it as well.

Thanks,
Nina

Heading Home

Hello Friends,
Anyone who knows me, knows that the Egret my mom's husband, PaP, started feeding years ago is inspiration for some of my paintings. PaP named her Ethel. Now that PaP has passed on, mom continues to have this other child to keep her company when my brothers and I can't be around. This is one more painting inspired by Ethel. This is 6x6 acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. It's available for $30.

Roses Orange and Blue

Hello Friends,

This painting is a still life set up I did in my studio. I so much want my glass in my art to look like glass, so it's brush time that will get me there. This vase was a gift from my mom. I had to go shopping for the roses. I found them on sale! YaY! I love it when a plan comes together. I set them up with a dark fabric in the background. This painting is the result. It's 6x6 oil on gessoed masonite and is available. It is unframed.
