Hello again, everyone. I have had a very productive weekend. Got lots of stuff done and even finished this painting of a giraffe for the daughter of a friend of mine. She loves giraffes and I was so tickled when she asked me to paint her one. It's a 5x7 on gessoed masonite. I love the expression, with the grass out the side of the mouth. Like..."what? You talkin to me?"
I hope you enjoy looking at this as much as I enjoyed doing it.
Bye for now,
Nina

Hello again, everyone! I'm glad you didn't forget about me. This has been a rough time for me, with the move and the constant overtime at work. I made it thru the move only to have my refridgerator go out. LOL But, I will survive! I hear...the Lord won't put on you, more than you can deal with...I'm begginning to wonder if he thinks I have a superman cape under these scrubs! LOL Anyway, enough about that!
Let me ask you...have you ever seen a Wolverine? Well, I was asked to paint one. I had no idea what they looked like. So, to the internet for research. The Wolverine is a school mascot of one of the area schools here. This is a christmas present for one lucky young lady.
So, this is a Wolverine. The actual animal is kinda scarey looking, so I kinda "sweetened" him up a bit. I mean, who wants to be scared to death by their christmas present, huh? LOL This is 8X10 acrylic on gessoed masonite.
I hope you enjoy looking at my impression of the mighty Wolverine, as much as I enjoyed painting him.
Bye for now,
Nina
