Hello again,
I've been playing with acrylics again. I thought I would do something a little different, just for the heck of it. I watched Jerry Yarnell do this sort of painting on his tv show, so I thought I would give it a try. I'm reasonably happy with the outcome. It didn't turn out impressionistically as I would have liked, but it's about the journey. I always learn something about myself with every painting I do, and this one was no exception.
On a much different note...I've been commissioned to make a quilt. I have done this in the past, and any thing to finance my paint and canvas obsession I seem to have developed will be a good thing. LOL I will post a picture as soon as I'm done with it. It's not a painting, but it's still my impression of color.
I hope you enjoy looking at my interpretation of Jerry Yarnell's lesson as much as I enjoyed doing it...
Bye for now,
Nina

Hi Everyone,
Bet you gave up on me didn't you. Well I am still here. After my surgery I decided to try to put a new floor down in my studio. Stupid idea, by the way, but I got it done. I have finally been able to get back to painting.
My mom painted her house on the inside a light turqoise and was complaining that she didn't have anything to match her house. So, being the good daughter that I am, said I would see what I could do about that.
A couple days later, I was watching this very cool program on LPB of Jerry Yarnell doing this painting. I loved the colors, so I said, that would be perfect for mom's wall. So here it is. I really enjoyed this.
I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed doing it.
Bye for now,
Nina
