Hello again, everyone...I made it thru the Balloon Festival in Natchez, Ms! It was exausting! I did manage to sell one of my paintings, tho. I sold the bridge painting! I consider that a success. It's a small step, but a step in the right direction. Now for the fun part. Moving...dooms day happens this weekend, so wish me luck on making it thru that battle! LOL My mom and sons are coming to the rescue to help me. My daughter is coming also, but she better not pick up on anything heavier than a piece of paper, since my grandson is expected to grace us with his appearance around December 11th. She's a little hard headed...I have no idea where she gets it from.

This painting is from a drawing a lady at work gave me on a piece of paper, and asked me if I could paint it for her. I said SURE! I love that. It's a 5X7 on gessoed masonite. I will take it to work with me today.

Well, I hope you enjoy seeing my impressions of color as much as I enjoy doing them.

Bye for now,
Nina

Hello again, everyone. I have put off packing for my move, until after I get back from the Balloon Festival in Natchez, Ms. I just can't get everything done! I did finish the 11x14 tiger, tho. I sold my big Fleur de li tiger, so I'm working on another one of those. Remember, that's the one with the tiger inside the Fleur de li? Ha! I loved it! I think there is a piece of my soul in each of my paintings, and I am so happy when someone wants one.

These little paintings are keepsake paintings I did to take to the Balloon Festival. I wanted something small that would, hopefully, become a souvenir of the occasion for someone. These are 4x6 acrylic on gessoed masonite. I've signed them on the back with 2011 Natchez, Ms Balloon Race. I think they turned out great. Each one has the trees and river in them so they are like a little piece of my home.

I hope you enjoy looking at my little impression of a balloon race as much as I enjoyed doing them.

Bye for now,
Nina

Hello again, everyone. I have managed to finish a painting in the midst of moving and packing boxes and working. LOL I didn't have much luck at the Chicken Festival here in Dubach, but I had so much fun putting my art out there to be seen. I am attending another festival in Natchez, Ms the weekend of the 14th. The Ballon Festival. This painting is one I finished to take with me. This one is 8x10 acrylic on gessoed masonite. I am working on a bigger one that is 11x14. Hopefully I can finish that one before it's time to go. I think the tiger is my favorite animal to paint. The eyes are my favorite part of him. If it looks as though he's watching you, then I consider the painting a success.

I hope you enjoy looking at my painting as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Bye for now,
Nina
